Red Eye

Here's the story to go along with this:

It was a cold evening as four friends, (two boys, two girls), were driving up in the mountains for the weekend. Late that night, their car began to break break down. They push the car up to the nearest house, the rest were miles apart. Upon knocking, they were greeted by a kindly elderly woman who offered them a place to stay, because she had no phone that they could use. After some debate, they agree to take the woman up on her offer, and so moved all their belongings to the basement, their new temporary spare bedroom. By midnight they settled down and go to sleep.
At 2am, the guys are woken up by strange music coming from an adjacent room. They look through the keyhole to the door and see a little girl dressed in a white petticoat and frock dancing to the haunting melody of an unseen piano. A little more than creeped out, the boys decide to dismiss it and head back to sleep. By 4am, the girls had been woken up by the piano. The guys (awakened by the girls) tell the girls to look through the keyhole. Only after a great deal of encouragement did the girls pluck up enough nerve to look through. Unlike what the boys had claimed to see, all they saw was red, as though someone had put a red ribbon right up to the keyhole...
Still a little shaken (the girls had expected the guys to scare them somehow with a stupid prank), all four decide to leave first thing in the morning, bright and early at 5am.
5am rolled around, and the friends packed up their belongings into their car. As they stood in the living room, one of the boys noticed a picture on the mantle...
"Um, ma'am, do you live alone?" he asked.
"Why yes, I've lived alone for years...though I do miss the company of my granddaughter..."
"Oh...well....we saw this girl downstairs dancing to some music...." he continued as he pointed out the photograph.
"Really now? She died when she was quite young, actually. Unfortunately, she was plagued by many defects, which in turn killed her. Though she was a wonderful little girl, i could never get used to her....
...red eye."
